Reduction in Bruising Seen in Cosmetic Procedures Using AccuVein AV400 Vein Visualization Device

At the conference in which live injections were performed, Mary P Lupo MD, FAAD, a leading expert in cosmetic dermatology and one of the Cosmetic Bootcamp founders, said they saw a reduction in bruising associated with the injections that used the AccuVein device. The AccuVein vein visualization device highlights the patient’s vasculature on the surface of the skin in order to locate and avoid veins for cosmetic procedures. It is important to avoid veins in these procedures in order to minimize patient bruising.
